We value safety on the job.Claycordian is Desperate to Stop Telemarketer Calls – Needs Help This note came from a Claycordian who is desperate to stop the calls from one telemarketer, who phones her house anywhere between 5-8 times a day. How do we get the Telemarketers to stop??? This place called “National Renewable Energy Center” calls my house 5-8 times per day, as early as 8:15 a.m. They call from various area codes such as 707 area code, 925 area code and now an 818 area code. I’ve asked them to take me off of their list, I’ve informed them that I am registered with the FTC’s Do Not Call List and I’ve done all of this nicely and pleasantly. I changed my answering machine message to say “I’m on the do not call list”. I’ve been pleasant to these callers…until lately, I’ve had it. I’ve told them I’m a Renter, I’ve told them I already have solar, I’ve told them I’m in bankruptcy…I’ve even answered the phone “Wells Fargo Bank, please give me your account number…”

Everything I’ve tried does not remove me from their call list. I’ve even filed complaints on the FTC website with each of their phone numbers that they call me with. I know of a few other Claycordian’s who’ve dealt with these phone calls unsuccessfully as well. What can we do? What can I do that I have not already done? I’ve tried nice, I’ve tried by the rules and I’ve played games with them…. I don’t know what else to do to make them stop calling. So I’m emailing Claycord. Claycordians, what should she do?
