We have had this machine nearly a year and it is on 90% of the time. We only switch it off when we go out. I have no idea whether it is doing anything or not! It's noisy and the filters are not great... only removes large dust particles and mould. You can't sleep with it on - it's like a jet engine in the room.

Before turning it on, I followed the instructions and checked there were no pieces of polythene etc wrapping the filters or other parts of the appliance. l had previously bought the smaller model which l was very pleased with, decided to but the larger model for my living room. I am still not so sure if it is totally a good air purifier. I still have hayfever sneeze and attack. Blue light is very bright for night time. I have to cover it. When you first get the product, it is whisper quiet but after a few months the fans rattle... Superb, However, noise was quite big. we got used to it now but still quite loud.
