spring allergies + dog - 03/23/2016 We ordered this air purifier to alleviate allergens in our bedroom - we've been using it about a week now and it definitely seems to be helping. It was a real plus for me that the filters are permanent and washable - I dislike the idea of having to buy replacement filters all the time. this is the second hfd-110 air cleaner that I have purchased to supplement the first. I have two dogs and I am amazed at the dust that these filters pick up. I have had several other filters that have not done such a good job and were more expenxive with non-reusable filters. these filters are easy to clean and the first filter has laster for 7 years and is just as good and the new filter I just purchased. They are quieter than other filter that I have used. I just bought mine a couple days ago. Since Ive had it, i can breath a 100% better. I have neighbours that smoke and i could always smell the cigarettes in my apartment. Now when i walk in, its like fresh mountain air.

This is the main reason we initially bought the purifier. However, this purifier does a great job!
