It has been while since I used a humidifier so I was surprised when water vapor did not come out of the top. This humidifier uses about 2 cups of water every 24 hour.Our inside weather station says that the cabin humidity is 65% so it must be working. The plus is moisture does not get on our electronics. This is in our 650 sq ft cabin in the living room. It is too loud for me to have in the bedroom because I need it quiet. Creaky ceiling fan fanatics would be fine with the noise! We get some smoke in the cabin from the wood stove and this unit seems to purify that old stale air Have run this every day since I've had it.
