The food came from outside anyway, not brilliant and too much packaging. On my return to Manila I found a cheaper hotel nearby.

Another YHA hostel a few streets away is far better to be honest. The Where2next is much friendlier. Wed 09 Apr 2014 This isn't a regular hostel as most people might expect. More a small hotel but they do provide you with limited kitchen facilities and utensils. Good location for getting around as it's within 15 minutes walk of two malls (Robinson's & Harrison's), various restaurants, a couple of reputable massage places and corner stores, but the streets are dark at night so there is a need to be careful and sensible if you like to walk around. There is a guard at the entrance to the hotel. The LRT (sky train) is a 20 minute walk away which connects you to other areas of the city, and the Manila Zoo is at the end of the street. Staff were very friendly and helpful also the hostel is looking a little 'tired'. There are cheaper places available if you're on a budget. Wed 12 Feb 2014 not bad, no more guest.
