The Air Duct Cleaning Process In order to achieve measurable results, all debris must be removed from the entire duct system and working air flow parts of the air conditioning system.

After removing the vent covers, a rotating brush (consists of a brush head that is one inch in diameter and has twelve inch bristles) which is connected to a long vacuum hose, is inserted into the duct while spinning clockwise and counter-clockwise. This brush and vacuum mechanism is ran back and forth through the whole length of the duct until all debris is removed. The brush and vacuum mechanism is connected to our air duct cleaning extracting/vacuuming machine, the Duct Master. It has four 420cfm vacuum motors and a four stage HEPA filtration system. The brush head spins up to 2000 rpm and is safe to use for all types of duct systems, including flexible duct systems. The Duct Master keeps all dirt particles contained during the duct cleaning process. Dust and debris can also be found in the air flow parts, such as the air handler blower and a/c evaporator coil, of the cooling and heating system. Every bit of air that comes into your home from the supply duct will pass through these two working parts.

As the blower motor spins the air handler, it pulls air from your home through the return duct (passing through your filter). The air then passes through the heat components and the a/c evaporator coil, regardless of whether the heating or the cooling system is being utilized. Being that the a/c/heating system, air handler, coils, blower, supply and return ducts are all inter-connected, removing debris from one area and not the other will prove to be ineffective. Any and all debris found in the system must be removed for best results. As debris accumulates in your duct system and working parts of the air conditioning system, the system becomes compromised and unable to maintain the air balance of your home. Moisture is introduced, transforming your system into a breeding ground for mold, mildew, and fungus. The air that does make it through the contaminated working parts continues to spread, eventually making its way into your living space.
