envion therapure hepa air purifier

Age 18-24 25-34 35-44 45-54 55-64 65 and older Gender Male Female This is a great air purifier for $99. In response to the comments about it rattling, being cheap plastic and smelling strange when first turned on...... I think some are being a little picky... I guess it is not a heavy duty plastic (nor does it need to be to just sit in one spot 24/7. I can see where some may rattle because the back comes off to clean filter and when you put it back on, when turned on high, some may vibrate enough to make a rattle between the plastics - easy remedy though... we just took a small piece of clear tape and taped one side ... rattle solved. For $99 bucks and NO FILTER TO REPLACE... you can't beat it. The CADR ratings are good too. (according to my research they are as good as you will get for this size and price) As for the smell... lots of new things come with a smell... we just stuck it in our biggest room, let it run for 24 hours and then the smell was gone. Perfect things do not exist....

I'm usually pretty picky and don't spend money carelessly, but I don't expect perfection from anything and I think this is a great product. I have bad allergies and asthma. Yes () No (8) Report Yes () No (8) I settled on this air purifier cause it beat other expensive ones for its price.. 100 bucks was on the cheaper side considering they have a 200 dollar one, so I took it home eagerly, the high setting on it quite noticabely loud, and its LED at night time if your sensitive of light, will keep you awake! I keep it in my room, very first day of use overnight! my room is odor free and I can breathe beter with it, since I am allergic to dogs and we have 2 this thing is well worth the 100 buck price tag, and on top of that you dont need to buy filters all the time, if your looking for a air purifier that works and exceeds your standards, this is for you.. and I would know about high standards, I am a full time mystery shopper and Chef at a restuarant Yes () No (5) Report Yes () No (5) I picked this up for $99 at my local Walmart, and I'm very happy with it.

It was a bit on the expensive side, but is working great. The only downside is that it makes a loud noise when it's on high, but I just keep it on medium since it's in a small room anyway. It helps so much with the dust from my two birds. Yes () No (1) Report Yes () No (1) Verified purchaser I bought this for our living room and it keeps the air in the entire room fresh. We noticed the difference in air quality the first day.

fellowes air purifier ap-300ph review

I have a small house with 2 heavy smokers, this unit has made a huge difference in keeping the air breathable! I especially like that I don't have to keep buying replacement filters. The instructions for filter cleaning say to vacuum clean - do not use water. I haven't had the unit long enuff yet to see how well this cleans of cigarette smoke, but so far I am very pleased with this unit and the price was very affordable! Yes () No (0) Report Yes () No (0) Verified purchaser I am 68 and find this purifier does all that advertising said it would and more. Most importantly, for me, was a whisper quiet function as I have difficulty, now, sending outside sounds into the background when listening to TV or music. So, at long last 'the hunt is over.' Yes () No (6) Report Yes () No (6) Verified purchaser I really enjoy how fresh it leaves my room feeling and how I wake up with less allergies. It wasn't quite as good out in the living room so I leave it in my bedroom. It does just fine.

There is no noise in the low and medium settings but you definitely hear it in the high. Yes () No (0) Report Yes () No (0) Verified purchaser Neighbors smoke. I don't, but unfortunately the smell leaks into my apartment. I bought this and placed it in the kitchen where the smell seems to be coming in. I have to keep it on the high setting for it to be effective and it definitely is loud, but I don't mind it. It's done a good job (owned it for two weeks), but hasn't completely gotten rid of the problem. I'm going to buy another one and place it in the living room and hopefully a combination of the two will resolve the situation. I'll update once I know. Yes (9) No (0) Report Yes (9) No (0) I didn't keep it long enough to comment how effective it is. It probably filters dust and lint, maybe pollen, but doesn't filter smoke, odor, and whatever else the filter is not capable of filtering. The filter doesn't look like it will last. Cleaning would be difficult. It's not true HEPA but i didn't care for that when i bought it.

For me medium speed was quiet enough, high speed is too loud, slow speed is useless. It blows air like a fan, just not as strong as a dedicated fan. It emitted annoying plastic odor which i didn't like. I would not be able to make my own cheap filter or find a generic replacement. It's expensive for what it does. This "purifier" would be ok if it had a permanent washable filter which never needs replacement. Yes (1) No (0) Report Yes (1) No (0) Am I the ONLY person that absolutely loves the "white noise" made while running on high? I guess I am the person that loves the noise of a ceiling fan, too-but hate the gust of wind coming from a ceiling fan. This is the perfect solution. People, you can turn the UV light off. Its a clearly labeled button on the top of the unit. The complaints about this make me shake my giggle. I make bath bombs. If you don't know what those are, they consist of fine powder compressed into a mold that you drop into a bath. It involves triple sifting baking soda, citric acid and cornstarch-there is dust absolutely EVERYWHERE!
