Using dual aFe Pro 5R conical air filters that feed into large-diameter, equal-length inlet tubes, a huge amount of cool charge air gets dumped into your truck's turbochargers. The aFe EcoBoost Stage 2 Kit can add up to over your factory air box and inlet tubing. The kit's huge power is packed into a complete F150 Cold Air Intake System filled with high-quality components that will make your 3.5L EcoBoost V6 feel like something even more vicious. Complete System with Quality Hardware The kit's huge power gains begin with aFe's Pro 5R oiled 360 degree air filters that mount using aFe's unique heat shield and the bottom half of your OEM air box. The filters feed air into their included inlet pipes that have an equal-length design and feature an "H-Pipe" balance tube that promotes highly-efficient airflow.

Despite being one of the more intensive cold air intakes for the EcoBoost F150s, the aFe Stage 2 kit is extremely easy to install and comes with all of the necessary clamps, couplers, and hardware you need. The Pro 5R Air Filters come oiled and can be washed, re-oiled, and re-used as part of a regular maintenance cycle. 50-State Legal: This Cold Air Intake meets the California Air Resource Board (CARB) regulations, making this modification street legal and ensures it meets emissions regulations. The CARB EO ID# is D-550-15. aFe Stage 2 Lid: If your aFe intake is slightly too loud for your taste, then you can quiet it down with the aFe Stage 3intake lid. I was just reading the question and answer on this product and was wondering. Is there a question you don't have an answer for?

I don't know the meaning of life, and I can offer absolutely no relationship advice. Was this answer helpful? Answer provided by: Jason@Stage3 (10/8/2014) If I instal this intake without a tuner will it cause my truck to run lean? This intake does not increase airflow enough to cause a lean condition, even without a tune. Answer provided by: Jason@Stage3 (5/1/2014) Doe I need to purchase the lid/cover if I order this part or will it be ok without? The lid is not required, and aFe only offers it as a way to tone down noise. This intake does have a noticeable "sucking" sound that some people aren't a huge fan of and the lid helps eliminate it. Answer provided by: Jason@Stage3 (3/25/2014) Will this fit the 2014? Yes, this will fit the 2014 F150 ecoboost trucks. Answer provided by: Administrator (6/16/2014) Very interested in this intake upgrade as looks like it would flow enormous amounts of air but see reviews show little improvements in performance with a stand alone install.

My main question is with the dual filter/tube how does the MAF sensor measure both inlets when it's only installed in one of them? Well, first the 2012 to 2014 F150s use MAP sensor in the intake (2011s used a MAF). Also, that sensor is one of three along your truck's intake system, all of which work together to help your PCM decide whether or not to advance or retard timing. Answer provided by: Jason@Stage3 (8/1/2014) I would like to purchase a set of replacement (oiled filters) and recharge kit. Please let me know the part #'s and pricing? aFe's replacement filters are available here (part# 24-90069-2). The part number for the recharge kit is 90-50501, which we don't currently list. If you give us a call at 1-877-578-2433, we can get you a great deal. Answer provided by: Jason@Stage3 (11/11/2013) Will this kit have any affect on warranty? This kit should not have an effect on your truck's overall Powertrain Warranty. That being said, all warranty decisions are up to an individual dealership, though they do have to prove that any aftermarket part was the cause of a particular failure.

our best bet is to talk to your service advisor about your concerns and see what kind of leeway they give on performance parts. Answer provided by: Jason@Stage3 (3/4/2014) With the purchase of a 2012-2014 F150 3.5L EcoBoost AFE Cold Air Intake, would I need to purchase an Edge tuner in order to gain the horsepower and torque increases? Also I do plan on purchasing the 73MM throttle body down the road, same questions as before, would I need a tune in order to gain the advertized horsepower and torque gains. We found that the only way to achieve (and exceed) aFe's advertised power numbers was through tuning. If you are planning on getting several parts for your truck, you should check out our F150 EcoBoost Performance Packages or give us a call at 1-877-578-2433 to save some cash and get all the parts you need. Does this air intake require a tuner? Tuning is not required. Answer provided by: Jason@Stage3 (9/8/2014) Why does it state that the afe stage 2 oiled filter add 2 more hp than that of the stage 2 dry filter?
