Size doesn't matter in this case. What's important is how many times it turns your air over each day. The box it comes with says it's for a medium size room. If you have a 12' x 13' room this will work ideally at the medium or high speeds. If you have a larger room it will still clean your air; it just won't turn the air over as often. You would probably have to use its "turbo" speed in order to help clean the air faster. This is a very quiet air cleaner.
