The air in the room feels much purer. It is easy to select how long you want to use it for. Easily moved from room to room. Great if you have animals around. Have not cleaned it yet . If you live in NSW or Southern QLD beware - this air purifier is built to a standard, and not a very good one. So much so that it is horribly susceptible to 'ripple signal' interference - or the audible intermittent buzzing through the electricity network - that causes the unit to emit tones that sound like morse code at set intervals throughout the day and night.

My trusty old Sunbeam air purifier did NOT suffer from such interference, because the motors were built with additional componentry that prevented these tones from being heard - the Homedics product does not and as such, I cannot leave the unit on while I am trying to sleep as the incessant buzzing drives you mad.I have read reviews of this product on reevoo and people mistake the tones for a faulty product - it is nothing to do with the product itself, it is your electricity provider sending 1050Hz surges down the network to switch pumps and other off-peak electricity devices on & off.Sadly, the poor build quality of this product means it suffers from the aggravating ripple signal tones you also hear through your ceiling fans and see in your LED lights if you live in NSW or Southern QLD. Google "ripple signal" for more.If you live elsewhere, it is still a noisy product and better suited to larger areas as the air throughput is quite sizable.
