I can already tell that this purchase will greatly enhance the quality of a breathing this winter. I purchased two of these for each bedroom and I could not be happier. My son can sleep with it on the low or medium setting, and I love the white noise of a box fan, so I can enjoy it even on the high setting. The only adjustment I had to make was the front panel rattles a bit on the high setting, so I put it on rubber matting, and it went away instantly. I got it because a member of my family smokes in the bathroom and I needed to atleast make the air in my small room safer until I move out. My room is just about 85 square feet so this compact purifer was perfect. It is simple to operate and I notice a difference in the air quality. I read some negative reviews on the noise levels. I think the noise level is fine. You cannot expect something completely noise free. This lets out a nice actually soothing white noise that I like because it blocks out noise from outside of my room.
