How to Reset the Filter in a Honeywell Portable Air Cleaner Many respiratory illnesses, such as asthma, may become worse when breathing in air pollutants. The filters on Honeywell air purifiers are monitored by the machine to alert users when a filter needs to be changed. When a new filter is placed into the machine, you must reset the filter indicator to ensure the machine properly monitors the filter's effectiveness. Unplug the purifier from the power outlet before opening the machine. Unscrew the cap on the side of the purifier and remove the filter cover from the case. Slide the old filter out of the unit and remove the pre-filter that is wrapped around the filter. The pre-filter can be used with the new filter. Dispose of the old filter. Wrap the pre-filter around the new filter, slide it back in the purifier base and secure the cover on the base of the purifier. Reset the filter indicator by pressing and holding the "Filter Monitor" button until the indicator light shuts off.

It is the perfect size for my limited space. Most that I found were too large. When you turn it on it looks like a little wood burning stove. It's quiet and it adds such a nice cozy touch to the room. It puts out a good amount of heat and makes the room very comfortable. I'm in no Idaho and our winters are cold. A good heater is essential. I just got it and I see others said theirs quit working after a week. I hope that isn't the case with mine because I love it. It does have a 1 year warranty so we will see. The only thing that I did not really like about it is the front door and the legs are plastic.

The rest of the stove/heater is metal. I heated a small bedroom/craft room and it did a good job heating. I am in SW MS so it isn't really cold as some places. The flame light burned out pretty quick with that kind of use.

I never replaced it because you have to remove the inside to do so... I had my furnace replaced but I continued to use this heater to heat only the bedroom so I wouldn't have to heat he entire house since it is only me. It worked fine until now 12/17/15. I went to turn the main switch on, a rocker switch, and it didn't rock. My friend bought one about the same time and the thermostat knob stopped working. Be sure if you do purchase to get the warranty. They are going to refund the purchase price and taxes...You can not operate the heater without the flames going. Ours was on sale for $44 and for that kind of money you're not going to beat it. Top is cool to the touch. It has a thermostat. One speed fan but that speed seems perfect. It's in a medium to large room w/two open doors on ea end and it keeps the room toasty but we haven't hit dead of winter yet either.

Figured I’d be good to go. However, the legs are a nightmare to attach. There are 5 pre-drilled holes on each corner of the heater. The legs have 2 little protruding pegs to help align the legs--these pegs go into 2 of the holes, leaving 3 for screws to attach the legs. The problem is that the pegs are way smaller than the holes, so they don't stabilize the leg at all. The leg will fall over unless you hold it down--and you have to do this at the same time as you're trying to insert the 1st screw through the leg and into the heater hole. I have small hands, and there wasn't enough room to get my fingers inside the leg to start the screw, except with great difficulty.

Then, after I finally somehow managed to get a couple of screws into place, I found that I couldn't tighten them. To check that something was wrong here, I put a screw into a hole on the heater bottom (without the leg). Sure enough, it only went in a certain amount and then wouldn't tighten farther.
