I bought this to help with my grandson's allergies to pet dander in my home. It seems to have improved his condition greatly! I like the fact that it is streamlined and simple to use. I easily found a space for it in the main living area without it looking out of place or in the way. It's very quiet and does the job.Condition: Pre-ownedby does not clean air very well. run 24-7 still see dust in the air floatingthis does not clean the air very well. run 24-7 and still see dust in the air floating around. and the same dust build up on my furniture, i had before i used product. on the side the air comes out. the grill, has dust on it.

my assby Great productI like that you don't have to buy filters. It works very nice.Condition: Newby Ok productIt's ok. But I still take multiple medicines for my allergies. So I don't know if Any improvement is due to this device or the medicines I'm taking. I'd say for severe allergies just avoid the allergens source all together. Dont put all your hope on this device.by GREAT PRODUCTThis product is great for my asthma. I use it in my bedroom at night. It does not make noise like some people might say it does. I would highly recommend it to anyone. 2,186 posts, read 4,914,191 times I have owned many air purifiers over the years and I always seem to throw them away for the same reason every time being that I can never conveniently find the filters that I need to replace the dirty ones. Sure, you find a proper filter once in awhile that costs a ridiculous amount of money or you can order them if you have the time but I always feel like air filters are more trouble than what they are worth.

Then, I stumbled across the Honeywell HFD-120-Q Tower Air Purifier with a permanent filter. I didn't even think twice about paying $149.99 for it, if I didn't have to buy replacement filters this thing would more than pay for itself. I somewhat set myself up for disappointment driving home with it. I thought perhaps I was too excited about it and that it would not work up to my expectations but I was completely wrong. I absolutely love this air purifier. First, it looks fabulous in my living room. It says it cleans a medium-sized room but my room is quite large and it does a fine job. I have it placed in a high traffic area where the dogs come running through after being outside and shake their hair and dander and it seems just to eat it right up. I literally no longer have that embarrassing cloud of floating particles that you generally see when the sun shines through the window. I do vacuum my house everyday because of the animals but this air purifier has brought clean to a whole new level in my living room and I don't have to dust nearly as often.

This air purifier is just under 29 inches tall and weighs 13 pounds. It oscillates, has an ionizer and the fan has three speeds. It is extremely quiet on all three levels and when ran on high, it doubles as a fan, except that it is blowing clean air around. The best feature on this is the permanent washable filter. The electronic filter check feature tells you when it's time to clean it and I usually just take it out and soak it for a bit and then go rinse it off. I could not be more pleased with this air purifier.

A Fond Farewell from A Contributor and Student Vlando Jewelry Box Review Honeywell QuietClean® Tower Air Purifier Although it is never pleasant to talk about, there are so many airborne allergens in our homes. Whether you use a lot of cleaning chemicals, dust, pets, etc., your home has some unwanted visitors! I was extremely happy when I was asked to use the Honeywell QuietClean® Tower Air Purifier in our home. We have had air purifiers in our home over the years (some better than others), but when we moved last summer we didn’t bring ours with us. It was pretty old and we decided it was time for it to retire…like us. Of course, that left us without an air purifier in our new home, so the timing was perfect when we received our Honeywell Air Purifier. Honeywell has been around forever, and it is a name I know and trust, so it is especially exciting to have this purifier.

Why am I so excited? • Ideal for Medium-Large rooms (up to 179 sq. ft.) • Patented 3-step filtration system • Permanent, washable filters • Captures odors & VOC’s2 • Circulates room air 5X per hour3 • Extremely quiet operation Simplicity and effectiveness are very important to me. The Honeywell Air Purifier is both, which pleases me to no end. It just plugs into the wall and with the touch of the “on” button, it starts to clean the air. There are three speeds to choose from, but at any speed, it is seriously quiet (SO much quieter than any air purifier we have had in the past!). I love that it covers a large area, as our home is really big. A study was conducted recently, to compile a list of the top 10 most common American household VOCs (which stands for volatile organic compounds). The study was done by the maker of Honeywell Air Purifiers and a team of environmental health scientists. They also found that many of these VOCs have toxicities that can lead to headaches eye, nose & throat irritation.

They also put together a checklist to help consumers determine (and hopefully reduce) which products in their home might be toxic. Dirty air is drawn into the purifier by a powerful, ultra quiet fan where it then passes through a pre-filter trapping larger particles and finally through the high performance filter that captures the microscopic particles. The permanent filters are easily rinsed clean in water, saving money on replacement filters. An optional, replaceable odor and VOC reducing pre-filter is also included giving the user the choice of added cleaning and freshening. An electronic filter clean indicator reminds the user when it is time to clean or replace the filters. The sleek, new design features touch button electronic controls illuminated by blue, dimmable LED’s and an integrated easy-to-carry handle, allowing easy movement to another room. We have noticed a big difference in our home since we started using the Honeywell QuietClean Air Purifier. Our home smells extremely fresh and clean.

You would never know we had cats (trust me, this is a good thing!). But even more importantly, we know that we aren’t breathing in as many VOCs. We are very, very impressed with this product, and it definitely gets the Eighty MPH Mom Seal of Approval!
