I bought it for my 4 month old son's nursery. His room is med-large and it works great! It also has a soft light that serves as a night light. It has three settings, including a quiet setting, but our baby sleeps to any of them. If you pick it up or it falls over, it turns off automatically, which is great! It is also adorable! One night we turned it off and left it off for a couple days and our son's nose started getting stuffy (during the cold season) so we turned it back on and he instantly was clear again!
