Since installing them (take out of box and plug in) she very seldom has to use her inhaler. Mold is a fact of life living in the part of Hawaii we live in and these purifiers are really doing the job removing air born particles.  Here, the filters need to be vacuumed every other week.  Not sure if they will last the two years, even if they last a year it is a great price for what you get.  A side benefit is they are very energy efficient compared to the competition. I highly recommend this air purifier. I have many air born allergies and this air purifier cleans the air and I have not gotten sick since using this product.
