It is quite noisy, however I find the sound relaxing. The fragrance drops do not last long in the unit and it has a huge basin that has 1/4 fill line. I've used all the scents that came with the product and have more ordered. I would get some other scents of greater quality, such as pure essential oils, or Claire Burke, but I am afraid that they would eat the plastic water containers. Could use some feedback here on what to buy to replace these horrid scents.
