He was very thorough and explained everything to me so I could comprehend what was going on. I will recommend Sears garage door service to everyone. I was very satisfied with the technician. However, the appointment was made for 8am on 1/15/16 and technician had not arrived by 10am I called them and was told my appointment was 1/18 at 8am. I knew that 1/18 was incorrect as both the date and time were confirmed on the phone by both me and the representative. It worked out because the technician was able to be there in the afternoon and was very pleasant and professional. I must say I was surprised by the amount charged for the work done. Seemed to me $538 was a lot of money for 30 minutes of work and the amount of parts needed. The service man did an excellent jobparts not on truck with driver as stated by customer service rep. parts take a week to order. All of this could have been avoided if the customer is allowed to speak with a competent professional prior to arrival and not a telemarkting/scheduler.

I could have informed the technician of the garage type and size. I tried to give this information to the scheduler and "I don't need that information the technician will measure at the appointment". Waited for the appointment, very nice technician, but all in all this was a very disappointing waste of my time! Our technician was friendly, knowledgable, and efficient. Your Technician Mr. Chin, presented himself in a very courteous and professional manner, was very patient and through in his presentation and instillation and over all conduct business in a way the raises the bar for competitive companies to attempt to reach.
