It died on September 5, 2016. Something broke in the motor housing producing loud clattering. You wont regret this air purifier .. I did a long reviews of theze purifier .. This best one for thr money But noisier than the Rabbit Air BioGS 2.0, which is really not all that much more expensive. Like, the Rabbit Air BioGS 2.0 is FAR quieter on its max setting. It's quietly humming across from where I'm sitting, but as soon as there's some smoke or other contaminants the fan kicks into high speed and the air is...
I've had this about a week. It seems to be sucking a lot of dust out of the air on high speeds. The high speed is very loud, but I just move it upstairs if I'm downstairs or vice... I've tried many air purifiers. This is the most expensive but also the best for clearing a room of allergens and other nasties. I shopped around quite a bit for a reasonable priced air filter that would work for a large bedroom. I have an older unit, and I enjoy the various speed options it has. The older one even comes with a nice remote control.Few weeks ago I received the package with my Sharp Air Purifier, after i plugged in the product to the electricity i was shocked to found out... Sharp Plasmacluster Air Purifier with Humidfier After using Sharp's combination air purifier/humidifier, the Plasmacluster, for a couple months now, we're fans (no pun intended). While it's a little on the larger side for a tiny Manhattan apartment, with a true HEPA filter, a state-of-the-art ionization system and some choice extra features, we think it's worth it. Using technology that automatically senses the air quality and adjusts fans, humidification and the degree of cleaning needed, the auto setting works really well and makes it easy to use. Lights indicate the different levels, which are a fun way to visualize the impurities and filtering action (green indicates clean) but can be turned off if you have other sources of entertainment. It also operates almost silently and cleaning it is extremely easy—a must for a daily-use device like this. Buy it from Sharp starting at $400 for the smaller model.Sharp Corp. and Panasonic Corp., Japanese electronics makers struggling to recover from record losses, are boosting sales of air purifiers in China as pollution worsens in the world’s most populous country.
Sharp’s sales of the products, built mainly in Shanghai, tripled last month from a year earlier, Miyuki Nakayama, a company spokeswoman in Tokyo, said by phone yesterday. That’s spurring the Osaka-based manufacturer to increase output, she said. Panasonic’s production of air purifiers for the Chinese market in January were 50 percent above average monthly levels, Chieko Gyobu, a spokeswoman, said yesterday. Air quality in Beijing deteriorated beyond World Health Organization safe limits every day last month as smoke from coal-powered plants, factory emissions, car fumes and dust amassed over the city. Official measurements of PM2.5, airborne particulates that pose the greatest health risks, rose as high as 993 micrograms per cubic meter in the capital Jan. 12, compared with WHO guidelines of no more than 25. “The spike in demand may help Panasonic and Sharp,” said Mitsuo Shimizu, a Tokyo-based analyst at Iwai Cosmo Holdings Inc. “The Japanese companies have good technology.”
Sharp’s air-purifier sales in China doubled last year as people grew more conscious about the environment, Nakayama said. Air purifiers make up about 30 percent of the company’s sales of white goods, or household electrical appliances, in China, she said. The company got 20 percent of total sales from China last fiscal year, making the nation its biggest overseas market. The company’s Plasmacluster line of air purifiers disperse positive and negative ions into the air that attach to and break down pollutants, according to the company’s website. The technology kills germs, molds and odors, Sharp says. Sharp fell 4 percent to 315 yen at the close in Tokyo trading, trimming its gain this year to 4 percent. The company, forecasting a record 450 billion-yen ($4.8 billion) net loss in the year ending March 31, has sold assets, cut its workforce and mortgaged its headquarters as it seeks to return to profit. Panasonic, which forecasts a loss of 765 billion yen this fiscal year, declined 0.9 percent to 665 yen.
