Back to search results SUNBEAM TIGER - £49,995 This beautiful 1965 Sunbeam Tiger Mk1 was for many years owned and restored by the Uks top Sunbeam Alpine and Tiger restorer Clinton Green of Classic Perfections. The car was his pride and joy and it received the best restoration available and won the Sunbeam Tiger Owners Clubs car of the year award. Less than 20,000 miles since the restoration. Finished in the original Carnival Red colour with black interior and carpets it remains in superb condition throughout. It has just received a brand new 302 cubic inch 5.0 litre V8 with a 600 Holley carb and is as yet not run in fully. A major improvement over a standard car is with the addition of a 5 speed T5 gearbox, new clutch, a limited slip diff and electric power assisted steering which means that the car is both very fast and smooth to drive. The car sits on 14 x 6 Performance minilite style wheels shod with almost new 195/60/14 performance tyres. It also features the smoother headlight rims from the Mk2 Tiger.

Excellent chrome bumpers and fittings all round. The soft top is also like new and fits very well. The new engine also features an alternator upgrade, larger aluminium radiator, flexy fan, remote oil filter conversion, and a chrome air filter. Suspension and brakes are fully sorted with poly bushes, an uprated anti roll bar, 4 pot calipers and vented discs. This car is well known to the club and a GENUINE Tiger. Colour code 39 Carnival Red.
