To replace the filters, remove the front panel as well as the plastic support filter frame by bending and pulling out. Pull anywhere on the carbon filter to remove, and pull on the tab on the edge of the HEPA filter to remove. Place new filter in, replace plastic support filter frame into the four tabs, and replace the front panel. To reset the filter indicator lights, simply hold the button next to the indicator light down for at least 3 seconds. Carbon filters should be replaced approximately every six months, and HEPA filter should be replaced annually.
