I have only two recommendations: The first would be to ask the home owner if it is okay to step on their furniture to reach a vent before doing it. The second would be to screw the bolts back in the vents that were unscrewed by Magic Carpet, and offer to clean up the dust from the vent cleaning. We hired this company to come in and clean the air ducts in the house we recently purchased, to help in the fight against allergies.

They came in, cleaned out some big items blocking the air flow, and then cleaned the ducts of dirt, cat hair (we don't have cats!) and other detritus. This is an excellent family owned company who do a professional job. We VERY highly recommend and will use them again if we have a similar project. So far so good with the 10 year old dryer. How do most people like the 16.5 inch height? In general, does the height to bowl seem better or worse than the standard height? I have never tried one of these raised bowls and I hesitate to buy one.Another concern is the hanging flapper. Since I have my own waste system I can not have water leaking.Perhaps that should be a separate question.Thanks for any opinions on the height.
