Bottom Line (4.5 stars): This air cleaner works well in my bedroom and removes pet dander and other particulates effectively from the air. My allergies are better as a result. After reading many of the reviews on this air purifier, I decided to purchase it over some other brands out there. I bought the Winix U300 after reading reviews on different air purifiers. It arrived a day late from Amazon but it was the local post office that did not try to deliver it. Does the job for a household that has a dog and two cats. I had mild allergies for the first week we took the cats home but now I am able to hold and pet them with no problems. This is my first purifier purchase after reading reviews and comparisons for a month. The build quality is good and the unit runs solidly even at the turbo speed.
