I am a real customer and I will be writing this review now and updating it later today (when the work is finished). I bought the Living Social deal. I arranged for them to show up on 1/7/13. They were supposed to arrive between 12-3pm. They called at 3:45 to say they were on their way. When they got there they started cleaning right away. Since I don't have carpet I "traded" that part of the coupon for them to clean out my intake duct too. They did this with no problem. They tried the up-sell. They pointed out some areas where I had some rust (drop pan) due to condensation leaking from drip line. They explained that this could lead to mold, etc, etc. They offered to do a complete cleaning, flushing of system, sanitizing, etc, plus a 2-year guarantee in which they'll come out once per year to check the system...for $399. I told them I couldn't afford that. They called their manager and reduced the price to $250.

Since I have no frame of reference if this is a good deal or not, and I had my father at the condo to oversee their work (he knows about houses, etc), I agreed. He hand cleaned and brushed the unit under my watchful eyes. Bryan knew what he was doing and the slogan "don't fix it if it is not broken", lifted from my mind. I was pleased with the outcome, no problems, a working HVAC. Clean air and a cleaner HVAC unit which is already 18 years old. BTW, we also agreed to install the UV lamp ($250) to kill allergens.
