This purifier functions very well, and fills the room with clean fresh air. I find this particular purifier easy to operate and very easy to clean. About once a month I clean the metal strips inside and the ionizer needles with alcohol. This removes all the trapped dust and pollutants. We use this in our very large bedroom, den. The light on the front is very bright, so moved to the office. Does what it says, removed strange smell from a room which we had failed to identify, so worth it just for that. Am not convinced it's actually doing anything.........I had an ioniser before around 10 years ago and that one had a build up of dust around where it sat ....
