The good: great American made heavy duty air cleaner. The bad: when it breaks it's expensive to repair.I had this cleaner a little over 5 years. Absolutely love this air cleaner. Yes, it's expensive but it does its job so I think it's worth every penny!! Suggest you get same day shipping as the unit is so large. Mine was very dented and covered in the carbon filter medium. And it was used in disaster relief. 10 years and going strong. Just ordered a new replacement air filter, runs 24/7. My mother smokes in the house. I am severely allergic to smoke. First I noticed that the lower plate screws were the wrong style for their purpose.
