Wipe down the outside portion of the air purifier with a clean, damp cloth to remove any debris. Follow up with a mild, nonabrasive cleanser for more thorough cleaning or to remove stubborn stains. Maintain the purifier's air inlet and outlet every two months by brushing it clean with a soft brush. Don't allow any dust to fall into the air purifier. Clean the air sensor every two months. Open the air sensor cover, which is located on the the side of the appliance, and brush the air inlet vent, the air outlet vent and the air sensor with a soft brush to remove dust and debris.
