First problem the plug wires break internally at the entrance to the plug(not a fuse problem), so I had to cut out the old plug and buy another one to reattach. Second is the fan blad/motor becomes very noisy - rattles; not all the time but at random times and noisy enough to distrupt tv. Third I discovered when removing the grill for cleaning (disconnect power cord first). The motor stays very very very hot for a long time. I bought a fan to cool not double as a long term heater..... You dont feel this from the air but it means electricity is being wasted in the form of heat, and a hot electric motor is not a good sign. So they may have some valid marketing hype regarding the way the air circulates but there are other significant and repeatable design quality issues - see youtube for more. In order to keep the AC temp up we have been using fans lots of fans to keep cool. The trouble with lots of fans are: noise and they take up so much space. You had to turn the TV up scream at each other just to hear above the fans and then to try and walk thru a room that has 3 fans in it was like doing maneuvers in an obstacle course. Now I use the Vornado and 1 oscillating fan(until I can get another Vornado) and get a much better result, the noise is not a problem anymore. I love the way the air wraps around you due to the way this fan is designed instead of hitting with this hard/noisy blast of air. It's such a small fan you hardly notice it except that it definitely moves the air. I am a Vornado Fan FAN from now on..
